good bye shiny mirrored bk2.!

hey guys i did a post when i poloshed my bk2 it was real shiny very nice bit hard to maintain. well i spent the night at the everglades fishing used the knife alot and as usual got back home and my polish job looked all smothered and black spots all over from fish guts n all soooo. . .yea got tired of cleaning and put a patina on it,watcha think guys? like the pattern? i miss the mirror but it was to much hassle .thanks guys

Looks good. Should have kept at the fish guts patina, though.

Loves me some natural patina, but that one on yours looks great, brother.

thanks moose..lol i kinda was forced to take off the fish guts the wife uses it in the kitchen she was all like ewwww and what not..it was black and purple patina becouse the mangrove wood i was hackin at..i used vinigar and mustard
 
looking good. i love a nice well used 2. do you have any pics from your trip?
 
You should polish the edge. It's always nice to see a mirror like polish on the cutting edge, even if it does get smudged!

lol i wish i would have quickly processed him with the bk2 but its a big no no down here in fl lots of jail time .jaja. . my uncle is a trucker and he hit one on the road and decided to take him since he was dying anyways and ended up with a bunch of court time and fees and some days in jail...would have made some gator nuggets hmmmm
