Hey everbody, I am looking for a good calendar or date keeping software for Windows. Ideally something free  but I am willing to pay for something that is of quality.

If it allows for syncing between two computers, that would be awesome.

YOu can download Palm desktop software for free.
You don't need a plam pilot either.

PricelessWareHome.org is where posters from the newsgroup alt.comp.freeware vote every year for the best freeware -
there is a 2008 list due imminently -
however this is the 2007 page on Organizers
where there are Calandars, Organizers and PIMs -
hopefully something there will fulfill your needs.

I use Mozilla sunbird. works pretty well for me and I still havn't sorted out all of the features.

I use Google apps at work. You have to be online, but you can check it from anywhere. It will give you alerts as well.

I agree on the Google calander if you jump from computer to computer.
You can also load the google sidebar and link it to your google calander and it will give you popups.

Dangit, I used to have a really great freeware calendar program for scheduling and reminders. It had pop-ups, all sorts of alarms, tools for time zones, calendar conversions...

After testing it out, I uninstalled it and now cannot recall which program it was. It's likely that I found it at NoNags, or it may be one of those listed at Pricelessware.

Google Calendar is fantastic. I would use it, but it doesn't sync quite right with my iPhone/iCal so I can't :(
