Good case to hold/transport my collection?

I hope this question fits in the "& Such" part of this forum :o

I currently own ~20 knives of various sizes (Caly3 up to NMSFNO), and I'm running out of drawer space for them! So I'm thinking maybe a nice foam-padded case would be a good way to store them, as well as get them from point A to point B if the need should arise.

I know Pelican is known for making really good cases, and a laptop model like the 1090 seems like it might be what I'm looking for. Well, I might need three or four to leave room for expansion :p

So what do you use to store and/or transport your collection?

Cheers,
Brian

A shotgun or rifle size hard side case with egg crate foam would secure and transport quite a few knives.

If your a fair hand at woodworking, it should be a no brainer.. Or you might be able to have one made.

I'll check that out. Probably cheaper than spending $150+ on a smallish Pelican case. (Also less indestructible, but that's a secondary priority!)

Making anything with wood is outside my skill set... but I know someone with the tools and knowledge, so maybe it's time to learn something :D

Thanks for the ideas!
