Well, I need a digital camera. Borrowing others cameras just isn't working. I am looking for something for trade pics, and for hiking pics. Doesn't have to be the best in the world, just durable and cheap. I haven't used a Mac in a long time, so anything compatible with Windows (isn't everything? :D). This will more than likely be purchased at Walmart.

Thanks

First of all, they're all compatible with Windows - no worries there. Since I don't know what brands Wallyworld sells I will give you some generic advice.
Stick with the major camera makers and you won't go wrong. Canon, Nikon, Fuji (get one that does not take xd cards), Panasonic, Kodak, Sony & Pentax are the major players. You really can't go too wrong with any of them. Find one with the features you need, the price you can afford and enjoy!

There is a recent concurrent similar thread here -
the two cameras being considered were both good choices
I am pretty sure both are available at WalMart-

please take a look at the advice given, and the choice made.

I have been very pleased with the Exilims, and the Fuji I have.
I dont think you can go wrong with them.
