Well, I broke down last week and ordered an 18" Chitlangi after getting a Deal of the Day BDC and falling for the Fullers on the BDC.

I already had an 18" Sirupati that is going to my Brother for Christmas so I was able to compare the two Khuks.....

The Sirupati is very well balanced and I'm able to move it very quickly - good for slashing and thrusting. The Chitlangi is a bit heavier in the front end so would have a definite hacking advantage over the Sirupati. Over all I like the feel of the Chitlangi better than the Sirupati. The Chitlangi feels more substantial and if I ever had to use it for protection it would do more damage. So, for the confidence factor the Chitlangi has the edge and for just plain looks the Chitlangi's Fullers are awesome.

The Sirupati is made by Bura and the Chit by Kumar. Both are just beautiful!! :D

For me, Chitlangis feel great, and sirupatis leave me unimpressed. May be something to do with the respective balance- I want something that "hits hard", I guess a little more of a chopper than a slicer.

Beautiful Pictures:)

It reminds of those pictures in gun magazines that make me drool and then develop a sudden burning need to own whichever gun is in the picture.:D

I have a 20.5" Chitlangi that's around 30oz and feels like it'd serve well as a shortsword. They definitely can do some work.
