This is how to treat people:

I'm still collecting 'glues' for my tests. One of the ones I picked up was Loctite's new "Xtreme Repair". I got it because it dries clear and remains flexible and withstands heat.

So, I tried a small sample and it won't setup. I called their 800 number. After a little jog with "Press 3 for." A real person picked up the phone in about 7 seconds.

Now, remember I only bought a single 1 oz. tube. The lady was very concerned it might be a production problem with this new product. She asked me a number of relevent questions. I didn't have the tube handy to give her the lot number, but she didn't argue or say call back or nothing. Instead, she's sending me a pre-paid envelope to return that tube and sending a fresh replacement tube.

Loctite might be a huge, multi-national company with consumer and commercial product lines, but they know how to treat people.

Don't be suprised if my published tests focus on their products!

I too have spent some time on the phone with Locktite because I couldn't find a product they were supposed to have. The person was genuinely interested in helping and pointed me in the right direction.
They have my vote too.

Nice to confirm Riley. They have my vote.

Yeah, Steve. That's what got 'em there I'm sure. There's a few companies like this and I keep going back.

Rob Frink is a one-man operation that has that 'confidence' feel when you buy from him.
