I had a Mini CQC-7 that had a weak ball detent that wouldn't keep the knife closed.

After coming here and seeing all the "send it in" threads, I sent it in for repair explaining that I would prefer a stronger ball detent to overcome when opening the knife and asked them to fix it.

A week later I had the knife back with the non-lock liner replaced with a shiney new liner, and now the knife works just like I like it to, and the lockup is perfect, right at the edge of the tang with room for a lifetime of wear. I'm totally happy.
 
i've also sent in an EKI for service and had it back in my hands within 7 days, they are good people imho.
