Who should I send my knife to if I want a custom job done? I can't abide the rear palm swell of the TAC handles. I have small hands and it just doesn't fit well, but I like that badger so much that I'm thinking of sending it to somebody to modify it (basically take the swell out so it has a gentle downward curve). I could send it to Busse but I'm looking at other options too since this might take a while and cost a bit.

Bill Siegle is another option. He lives south of us in Oregon. Met him at BladeWest this year and got a chance to see his work up close and personnal. I was very impressed and have no concerns about sending my knives to him for work.
I'm of the same opinion about the TAC handle on the Badger. I would like to see before and after pics and a review of the work when it is finished. I'm planning on having the handle on mine modified.

Another vote for Bill Siegle, he has been working on Busse knives for the last six or seven years.

He does Pretty work.

Scott Gossman is who I send my Rats to. He was going to remove the coating on my muddy Meaner before I sold it.

Great, thanks for the suggestions (especially Crafft). I've contacted Bill and will be sending my knife to him.
