Nice! I see that our LEs are four number apart. :thumbup:

And, as you observed, overcast is your friend when it comes to using natural light. Direct sunlight is far too harsh, especially for Satin blades.
 
Great knives and Great pics! Nothing like a cloudy day for soft even lighting.

I first looked at it and thought it was Black since it looked to have plenty of crinkle. The Tanker Grey looked more smooth, and lighter in the pics Lunde took a while back. But your right it does look lighter than Black after looking again....good eye!
