Well here are some of my new knives that came in the mail today. Oh did they all make my day.

First photo are 2 Victorinox and 1 USA made Schrade

Second photo is a knife I bought about a week ago that needed a little polish and just today the polish arrived and I got to take pictures of it.

Third photo is a tool I've been wanting mainly because its cute. :p

Leatherman Mini Tool with blades displayed and then the handle extenders out to make it into full pliers.

That 102 Buck is a great knife. I bought a new one in 1969 as an outdoors knife. Easier to clean fish guts off of than my 301 stockman. It was my fishing/camping/hunting knife untill 2002. By then it was starting to become a very sharp toothpick, so Karen took pity on it and bought me a new one for my birthday. It gets a lot of use, being easy to clean. For a few years there I was experimenting on how much I could do with a small pocket knife, but now I've went back to carryig the 102. Just too good a knife to leave home when heading out in nature. Mine is the plain black version, not as pretty as yours!

I forgot to add the BEST part of today was I got to spend the whole day fishing with my 11 year old nephew. It was wonderful. His mom and him lived with me and my mom until he was 9 so he's more like my brother then my nephew. Great day!! :thumbup: :thumbup:
 
Sounds like fun. There's nothing like a relaxing day of fishing and some new knives to top it off. The Schrade is my favorite of the bunch, but it's hard to beat the utility of a Vic. I'm sure your nephew will have fond memories of these times spent together and I'm guessing you already have him interested in knives.;)
 
I'm sure he was. I still get excited when I get a new one.:D I bet that made you feel better than getting all of the other knives you did. It sounds like you really did have a great day.
