I bought a box of garage sale folding knives, mostly Imperial for $60. What do you think, did I get hosed, or a good deal? If your kids wanted to give you one, which one would it be? They like the Humbug knife and the mini folders. From the tang marks it looks like they were made from 1956-1988. There is a money clip with the Lion's club Golden Anniversary seal, which was in 1967. They are a little rusty, but all open well, and many snap shut nicely. Hopefully a little clean up will help. I have put a link in with the IMG, as I am not having any luck embedding the album.

Can't see the pictures.
I like the old American made imperial sljpjoints, so depending on condition and how many you got the answer could be a big yes, will need pictures though.

Now in general all that really matters is that you're happy with what you got.

Ha, I finally figured out the picture mystery. I had descriptions and tang pictures of all the knives, but I didn't want to spend the time recreating it. Here are the best knives from the box. There are three mini's, all very similar, except on has MADE IN GERMANY on the tang, but does not have a badge.

There you go.

Lots of folks on here imagine they'll come across a box of knives like that walking down the street but it never happens.

You're a lucky guy!

The two minis that aren't made in Germany are imperials.

Overall I'd say what you payed was a bit steep, but you got some good users.
The camillus cub scout knife is a good one, and the red scout with the hawkbill bladecis a good find as well.
