Good deals at Walmart

Just picked up a Buck multi tool for $15.00 and a Swiss Card for $7.00 at Walmart. They are on clearance and probably are all over the country. The multi tool seems pretty solid and the Swiss card is definitely handy. Good luck.

Just went to the Wal-Mart on this side of town during lunch -- didn't see anything in the cabinet and didn't see a clearance section, and of course no one was around to help out.

I'm planning on going to the *good* Wal-Mart - the one on my side of town has different stock and the staff is actually friendly - after work to see if I ahve any luck there.

I haven't seen a knife in the cabinet of my Wal-Mart for a year now. All they have is this stinkin' picture of a bunch of watches!

yah different wal marts have different stuff AND different prices AND different clearance items. I have to drive to like 4 different wal marts to get my fishing gear

Yea. Hate it. I usually only go to Wal-Mart when someone points out some new gadget that I've missed buying. ;)

(Eg.: I'm STILL trying to find the Casio Wave-Ceptor Atomic wristwatch that someone posted here a few weeks ago and mentioned they purchased it at WM. The photo he posted had a watch with a white face. That's the one I want but all the Wal-Mart locations I've gone to (five!) only have that watch (if they're not sold out) with the black face. :(

My walmart usually SUCKS. No one is ever at the Sporting goods counter and if there is someone there to help you then they are out of stock. I have never been able to find a Kershaw Vapor at my walmart in the past 6 months that I had wanted a replacement. It SUCKS!

Mine seems to be somewhere in between. The day I went to get my Chiven there was a guy behind the counter, but he didn't seem to want to do business with me. Another employee in the area finally came to see what I needed, but didn't know how the knife worked. I opened the knife once or twice in front of him using the thumbstud but did *not* use the little protrusion on the back of the blade for fear of freaking him out with the realization that Wal Mart sells "automatics." This was shortly after the incident at the casino in Illinois and I wasn't taking any chances. :) Someone posted here a while back that they found an orange Zippo for around $5, IIRC. I've never seen one in my local Wal Mart.

It's hit or miss at the Walmart near me. I found a Victorinox Explorer for $15 once. Another time they must have had hundreds of Wenger Esquires for $5. Naturally, when I have some cash and I go looking for knives they have nothing.
