Checkout benchmade and spyderco, they have tons of knives that fit your criteria.

You could always customize a mini grip if you want a good knife but hate FRN, they're easy to make one-of-a-kind.
I know I love mine...

Blues Bender, pls tell us more about that deep carry pocket clip.

Gladly:)

It's a titanium "lowrider" clip I got from "usaknifemaker". I finished it to a mirror polish and anodized it so that only the edges are blue. I used to have a solid blue clip on there, but it wasn't subtle enough to match the blue ti thumb stud, so I went with less blue.

 you did a great job!

BM940 (blade may be a tad long; does reverse-tanto count?) or Spydie Sage1 (or Sage2 if you prefer titanium to CF.)

Just to clarify, do you consider G-10 plastic? G-10 is a thermo plastic laminate with fiberglass mesh + resin and some folks consider it plastic based on the description, some don't since it really doesn't feel like plastic.

Buck Vantage Pro (small) is ideal if G-10 is ok. It fits all your requirements.

Spyderco Paramilitary 2!

He's looking for a 3" blade, the Para is larger than that.

I'd recommend:

-Benchmade Mini Barrage (you can get it in M390)

-Benchmade Emissary

-Kershaw Leek (either the D2 composite blade or the S30V version)

-Emerson Mini A-100

-Benchmade MPR (rather chunky for its size)

-Benchmade Sequel

-Benchmade Mini Axis Stryker

-Spyderco Native 5 (just a hair over 3", but a great little knife with an S35VN blade)

-Microtech Mini UDT, if autos are an option.

You could also get a Mini Griptilian and then get aftermarket scales for it.

Spyderco G10 Native or Caly 3.5. If would reconsidered FRN get the Endura......No Brainer !

I'm not a Benchmade guy. I've never owned any, despite handling many.

I still have to suggest the 707. That is a fantastic, compact EDC option. Feels great in hand. Very well built.

I really like the sebenza but it's too much. I'm thinking about the 707 sequel, Bradley alias 2, and a mini grip with after market scales if I can fine them. Where can use find titanium or carbon fiber mini grip scales?
