Hi guys, wanted to give a shout out to the folks from WE/Civivi
My frequent user, a gray g10 D2 elememtum, has been through alot and the pivot screw is getting to the danger zone of being stripped. I emailed them regarding purchasing some spare parts to replace them and they replied and told me to only pay 5$ for shipping.
Fast forward 2 weeks and I totally blanked out on all this and forgot to paypal them the money, only to have a little box of parts and stickers show up at my door! All during the Chinese New Year month! (I'm Chinese and know how festive that month is lol), from overseas no less.
Anyway, very grateful for the extra mileage they went to keep me going, I own many of their knives and their quality and popularity definitely speak for themselves.
Thanks team, I appreciate it. When I go back to China after this COVID business maybe I'll pay a social call and bring some snacks.
More rants: good service isnt something of a virtue in China. If you ever eat at a Chinese restaurant you know that service is secondary compared to western restaurants, who usually try pretty hard to offer a pleasant experience. It's always very refreshing to see good service in China and I think prioritizing it will let WE/Civivi go far
