I love hunting. Yesterday I got to combine hunting trips. I left early for an afternoon goose hunt because near where I was going to goose hunt there are three large flea markets.

Ever since seeling Mike K.'s beautiful early micarta 112 sans nailnick I 've been jones'n for one, I've quelled that jones'n somewhat with this find...not micarta, but someday I'll have one of those too.

This is the way it was found, tuck away in the back of a curio cabinet that the vendors were using to display an array of things, all that caught my eye was the yellow of the box. I went to get the clerk and the key. When we got back and had the cabinet opened the clerk said that I was in luck because the owners were in the next space over. The man came over when that was said and commented that he didn't think the knife had never been used and that the tarnish would come right off. I wiped the drool off my mouth and ask if he could do better on the price:rolleyes:. When he said that he would take $5.00 off...I said "SOLD" took the knife, box and paperwork to the checkout counter and paid my $30.00 plus tax and went to my goose hunting spot. Didn't really care if I got a goose(I didn't) just wanted to get home and clean up my "trophy":D :D :D.

Here it is cleaned up...Preston

Thanks, Goose and Scott, I'm really thrilled with my find...I've checked it a couple times just to make sure it's real...with CRS, CHS, CSS all closing in on me I just have to make sure:D. Preston

Preston,
Nice job once again. Anyone looking at these before and after photos can no longer argue for keeping the bolsters in their tarnished state rather than polish them up.
