I don't think I've EVER seen this forum silent during the day for four hours straight!!

Okay, I'll ask a dumb question I've wondered about before: Penetrator tips work well on clip and drop points, but what about spear points, like the E-series Steel Hearts and such? Do you think they would aid in penetraion much, or not? Did anyone ever have it done? I know it's kind of a moot point now that the Fusions are coming, but still...

Yes, it has been slow today.

Regarding your question. I'm not sure if a PT would be beneficial on the ergo line, however it can't hurt ;):D:D

Of course the penetrator tip would aid penetration on the ergo line's tips. Any time that you make the tip narrower and more streamlined, it will aid penetration.

Granted, I'd just wondered--given the penetrator tip's popularity--why I'd never seen any done with it. I think it would look neat on a spear point. :)

Cool! I've always thought they belonged on them, and now I've seen it. I'll bet nobody has a penetrator tip on their Paul's Hatchet, though...
:D

Uh ........... We are still talking about knives here, right??? ;)

Given the small size of the PT, it would be really easy to create your own with a Dremel or belt sander/grinder.

I hope so, though if not, it would explain why there haven't been more pictures being posted...:D

Um, yeah... Of course we're talking about knives.

I've been posting pictures, lately. You wanna see a grizzly? mountains and meadows with wildflowers? a rock arch? roses? Just click on the link below my name. I'd have posted lots more pictures, but photo.net's servers seem to be acting up.

Well that is some of the best photography I've ever seen! Thanks for pointing me towards them! :)

I've noticed that when BF throws me off the internet, my posts get doubled. An interesting behavior of the programming code...

Thank you, T1mpani. That's very kind of you. I'll be posting a lot more pictures, as soon as photo.net's servers stop acting up.
