My name is Chance it's nice to meet you all. I should have made my introduction long ago, no excuse.
I like traditionals the most but also spend some time on the multi blade, and Becker forums. I've had an addiction to SAK's for some time. Also wanted to say thanks to Derrick at northwoods knives he helped me hand pick my first Great eastern today. I bought two matching trappers, one for me and one for my brother. Derrick knows his business and is a real gentleman. My collection is growing now including Case, Northwoods, Tuna valley(GEC) and one Schatt and Morgan. Thank you all for the great stories and pictures.

Welcome aboard! I think you will find more information about traditional knives here than anywhere else on the internet.

And while the current posts and pics are great, don't forget that this site is outstanding at keeping and archiving posts and pictures. Some pics may disappear, but there are many great threads that are still here intact that are a few years old that are just as relevant and fun to read as when they were written.

Searching is easy, and you can probably find the answer to many of your questions about traditionals by simply executing a few inquiries. I always check the archives here first when contemplating a new knife purchase to get the opinions (sometimes good, sometimes bad!) before purchasing.
