I was just crusing through Knifezilla, and saw the "balisong converter". I thought "what a great idea!"
It's at the bottom of his new balisongs page.
Perfect for getting knives past customs.
Reminds me of a OTF switchblade "kit" I bought when I was a kid. all you did was remove one side pannel, replace it with one with a slot to fit past the pin, and attach a button.
Even the plain stupid could do the kit.
My dad found it and took bolt cutters to it, too.
Maybe if all balis were shipped like this, we could get Taylor Manila folders again, Or it might be something for Dobruski to consider, since losing that one of Sniperboy's to US Customs.
A good idea anyway.
