I sent a used Benchmade Griptillian H20 with older XM-15 steel in for a tuneup. Mind you this was a $40 knife that I just found in my local market and it was a user. It was out of alignment for so long that the blade had lost some of the finish. I sent it in with no box (It didn't come with one) just wrapped in what paper the post office had around. Was I surprised when it came back! New everything, and in a box! Even a new blade in XM-15! They basically replaced everything except the scales and lock. So for $40 (plus $6 one way shipping) I now have a brand new knife that is perfectly centered and scary sharp. Very impressed!

with the good price and high quality i guess the company want a loyal customer

I had a 2 year old make off with my 51 Morpho's pivot screws the other day. I called Benchmade to ask about what I needed to do & they just took down my address & sent me what I needed. I've had similar experiences with their warranty department in the past. They've certainly earned my business.

Can't beat that for customer service.

Benchmade has top notch customer service based on my experience.

Nice. I just bought two benchmades actually after many, many years of not owning one.
I got the SOCP dagger and a L/E infidel. I doubt they will ever need warranty service as
they probably won't see much actual use, but it's good to know BM is still doing right.
Welcome to the forums.

I've also had good success w/ their customer service! Needed a screw that was stripped on a used grip I purchased, emailed them, had new ones within a week!

That's outstanding customer service. I have several Benchmade's that I enjoy (big fan of the AXIS lock) and its good to know how well they stand behind their products if need be and often go above and beyond.

I also do have to pay a complement to Kershaw/KAI. Last week I filled out the online service request for my Blur where after several years the pivot screw had come loose and was now missing. In the comments I offered and had no problem paying for the part since it wasn't really a defect of any kind. While I didn't receive any contact back other than the automated response that my request had been received; a few days later there in the mailbox was a envelope from Kershaw with a new pivot assembly. Awesome

Sent my griptillian in for a tune up a while back and it turns out the pivot was stripped and they replaced every screw, cleaned and sharpened it. All for free(except the shipping one way) got it back 1 week later. Great customer service IMO
