I've had a Kershsaw 1079 Outcast Bushmaster for a long time. I bought it for cutting vines while hiking but I was never happy with the edge. It didn't come with a good edge and I just could not get a good edge with that D2 steel so I just kind of gave up on that knife. So, a couple of weeks ago I started thinking about that knife and thought I would give Kershaw's free sharpening service a try and I sent it in to them. Two weeks later and I got the knife back with a beautiful, paper slicing edge. I'm impressed - thank you Kershaw! That knife is one hell of a chopper!
