Damn, you're getting good thrill. Trade, what sheath is that you're using for your 16?

That's what it looked like, but wasn't sure. Now you need some nice wood scales to go with the leather. ;) That whole set up looks nice.

Looks right at home, glad you're getting good use from it.

What hat is that, looks like brushed/waxed canvas? I am in market for a new woods hat, I lost my old one in Cali. Dang, now I'm sad just thinking about it.

I've got some flame maple boards in the shop that would look good when I get to it Dubz.

I bought that hat in Ft. Smith Arkansas twenty years ago Thrill. Been a good one.

I agree Dubz. TB is getting damn good. Nice set up Trade. Where's the adventure taking you today?

If we can get out of here in time, we're going to do some backwoods bushwhacking in Land between the Lakes. We're taking the boats to do some fishing too.

BTW, does that 9 sheath have a drain hole? Hard to tell by the photos.

So do I! Can we be friends?

ETA (after a long wait): Dang. I guess you don't want to be drain-hole friends.

Nice sheath though. I think I'm going to go king my King.

Congrats on what looks like a great sheath and a good bug out bag.

Thrill makes great stuff, I'm convinced :) I've never posted pics....i know...I KNOW, but I'm moving and who knows where my camera etc is. However, I got a 16 sheath from thrill and it's great- good retention, something I think I'll have around for a long time yet

Where's the adventure taking you today?

More of a misadventure today. We got to the trailhead and decided 98 degrees was just too warm to hike in and set up a camp. No problem, we have a contingency plan. Stow the packs, unload the boats and just paddle across the lake to our favorite deserted bay. Set up camp and do some fishing. It's only 6 miles over there and the big lake chop just made for a fun ride.

Our normally secluded bay is full. It's a party, we weren't invited and the "GET SHORTY" is sitting right over our brushpile.

So back to the hacienda to discover the AC has thrown craps. New unit too.

Time to drink beer.

Damn Thrill, that looks clean! I was almost sure I was gonna go right back to Godspeed! (I'll likely still order from him again at some point) for my next sheath but I really think I'm gonna try you out on my next one, really impressive stuff it looks like you've got an eye for detail. After I finish my current GAW and I have funds freed up again expect a PM. Nice set up Trade, sorry if you've answered this before but what kind of Maxped is that?

I don't know, Tradewater. I'd take that kinda' misadventure any day. Great pics.

Right!? Except the part with the AC taking a dump...robot poop is oily.
Looks like a damn fine day, I wish I could be on that lake right now!!!! MAN I do.

Should have just clambered aboard Get Shorty, shucked all your clothes, and proceeded to fish the brush pile off the stern. "Hey, you guys got any beer?"
