Good Karma and The Crow Knife
Saves A Man Lost In The Woods

Yesterday afternoon I went to Boca Springs to hike
and do some photography for the forum sales thread
with friend.

After a hike I took a picture of knives and left the area
to come home. When I counted the knives I had lost one
knife called The Crow Knife. It was missing and right
away we went back to Boca Springs hoping that no
one else found the knife. When we got back there the
Crow Knife was still safe on the log and I was delighted to
find it.

I picked up the knife and left the area and while were driving
down the dirt road, a man from the woods ran down and stopped
us and asked if we can help him. He said his car did not start and
he has been there for three days. He was hungry and very thirsty.
He ask if we could give him ride to town where he could get the
tow truck to get his car to repair shop.

We gave him ride to town and he asked for if we could give him a
little money for food. I gave him $10 dollars and he said "Thank you
very much. Please pray for me and God bless you."

After all this we were trying to figure out why we forgot to pick up
the Crow Knife. There was a deep meaning that if we had not forgotten
the Crow Knife there this man would never have the help he needed.
It was the middle of week there was no one around this area.

We felt good that we had forgotten to pick up the Crow knife or we
never would have had a chance to help this man. This is a really
good Karma story and whoever finds this knife will have a great
knife with a true story.

Just messaged for the CAK and mini bowie, fingers crossed its still available. the CAK seems a lot lighter than other CAK's I've seen is that normal? Also great story what goes around comes around.

Its amazing how the universe works. That was a great story Auntie, very inspirational. All energy flows according to the whims of the great magnet. The crow knife is an amazing HI piece with a wonderful amazing story. Everything happens for a reason. Once we let go of our illusions of control, we can truly become free.

Anyone else see the weight on the CAK 20oz? That is one hell of a backpacking knife. Easy to pack and it packs a punch.

What a lovely story.

It's amazing how the universe puts us where we need to be.

Yes 20oz is light for a CAK but you wont be dissapointed with its performance. That will make a fantastic all around work blade.

That CAK is lighter than your average KLVUK. KLVUK usually run 22-25oz. I was going to recommend that one but I thought it might be too light. Very nice blade to carry around all day tho. Love that Dhar wood:thumbup:

Yeah that's what drew me to it, I like the idea of a heavy duty chopper at a light weigh, sounds very useable for a hard days Yakka.

SteveAus:

I'll go with the typo theory, too. All the CAKs I've seen at 16.5" run about 2 lbs, give or take a couple ounces.

Let us know when you get it. Either way, you won't be disappointed.

EMd for the Chainpure. Forgot to post this last night.

Bill D.

I have a Purna Chainpuri and its a masterpiece. It has a horn handle and its much more substantial than my non HI Chainpuri I bought here on a DOTD. The horn handle is expertly done.
