That's pretty much what it is. It's just done very precisely. The width of the fuller is also very close to the same width as the beveled parts of the blade, which is really striking in person. I played with the one at the CRK booth at the Blade Show and I was really impressed. It's almost like some sort of modern art piece. Very sweet knife.
Sorry I don't have any pictures. There might have been one in James Mattis' pictures?
