Ok. I'm planing my trip home.. and I need a knife. The problem is tha all locks are illegal in my home country, so anyone have any advice on good folder with 3" or smaller blade w/o the lock.

Something similar to CUDA EDC or CRKT M16 (I don't like SAK's :)

any ideas ? thankz :)

The new Spyderco Pride is just what you are looking for. It was designed for travelers who are going to places that are not lock friendly. As a bonus, it may even be available with your home country's flag on it.

Your going to have a hard time finding anything like the EDC, but do a search on "slip joint" here and at knife web sites, and you will find what is availible.
I have a Case Texas Toothpick that I carry sometimes, nothing like an EDC, but I kind of like it.

you don't like SAKs? BLASPHEMY! :D

the Spyderco pride looks promising. For a more traditional style, you could go with something by Bulldog; they make some very nice, more traditional designs...

There are many slipjoint pocket knives that do not have locking mechanisms, but you're not going to find any that look like the Camillus EDC or the CRKT M16. Your only option would be traditional patterns like a Stockman, Canoe, etc.. You could also check out the various French and Spanish brands offered at www.cutlerytogo.com
They have several non-locking models, but all of them are in traditional European styles.
