Well I think it's time I get me a new knife.. I've had some money issues for a while but now those are finally over. Last knife I got was the Gerber Freeman caping, and I love that knife. Looks real good and feels good to me. Not a lot of use on it yet but oh well... Been busy lately.

But none of my knives really have wooden or wooden looking handles... And I was wanting to get a nice folder with that. But I'm not really sure what to go for at the moment. So I was wondering what some others may suggest as an excellent knife for me? I've seen several really nice knives on this forum but don't remember them all.

Thanks :)

Go to Bob Dozier's website, and Bark River's website.

Both have some of the nicest looking wood you'll find anywhere.:)

Depending on your budget....for the money, you can't go wrong with Buck 110.

I guess I didn't think of the real cheapies.

He really loves his Gerber Freeman Caping knife that tops out price wise around $30 or so. I wanted to suggest something that seemed to fit in his price range.

Besides...there is absolutely nothing wrong with a Buck 110...even the ones from evil Walmart perform well.

Well I love the freeman caping because it looks really nice with the wooden handle and the way the blade is. Just looks great to me.

I had forgotten the name of the Bark River company... I've always loved the Snowy River knife's handle from some pic I saw on here a while back... They have a lot of knives I lke. But right now I was thinking of some folder that had a wooden handle being next :)

The buck 110 is nice, one of the guys in my apartment ordered one last year and I always thought it was nice... Really solid... also really heavy haha. Or at least the one he has which I believe is a 110. Haven't seen it in a while... And I know a bunch of people on this forum really love that knife too... So that's one I was considering :)
