I was just looking through zknives, which brought me here, and as i look at these wonderful creations, my mind is thoroughly blown... and now im eyeballing what i can sell out of my gun collection to get a battle mistress...:(

gah, why do i love quality so much...
 
Well, since you've already been sucked into the vortex, I offer a word of advice.

Never tell your wife/girlfriend how much they cost. It will save you a lot of money in the long run in "retaliatory" spending.:eek:
 
actually i'm single atm, and you know what they say...

if you stay single your pockets will jingle... but at this rate i'm afraid they wont for long...

just.. wow.. they're like the hot chick you work with.. so close yet so far...:D

Yeah, that works just GREAT unless you happen to be the (in my case) girlfriend doing the collecting!! :D I have to let my boyfriend do all kinds of silly things to compensate!!! :D:D:D

i have an ar-15 with at least 500 rounds of ammo i'm eyeballing to get rid of.. nothing fancy but it does the job.

azshaman, you wouldnt happen to play WoW now would you?

It's a curse isn't it? My wife and I both have it! She can spot the highest quality (and usually the most expensive) item in a shop, with no price labels, at 20 paces. I do the same, just with different things (knives etc.)

It's not just about wanting the most expensive things either - that might be curable. We, like I'm sure most here, really appreciate the quality that is unfortunately so often expensive to obtain. Once we've been exposed to that level of quality, nothing else will really satisfy. Still, we only live once. Might as well enjoy it.

Do you not use the same tricks on your boyfriend that the blokes use on their wives/gf's? I have to let Dawn buy all sorts of stuff when she knows I've got a new knife. She's just ordered some window glass from the US for over $1000 + ridiculous shipping. Amazing how she even found it. It's much cheaper if she doesn't get to know.

No, always thought I'd like to learn, but I'm pretty busy getting a business started! :D Maybe someday.... If it were up and running we'd talk about your AR--I have a pistol but need a decent rifle!

Actually, I never use any tricks...just my own money. Stops him cold every time. :D

My own money... It's been a long time since I had that feeling!

Marriage = What's mine is hers and what's hers is hers!

I love her to bits though, and she does have to put up with a lot!

That's definitely Mrs. OP! As for me, I can only tell what I like. ;)

That whole 'quality' thing is just a mystery to me.

What is WoW? how do you play? or am i just missing something

Does your HBAR have a flat top? I have a Colt just like it with a 20" barrel, I've been looking for a 16" for the past week.
If it does have the removable handle and a flashider send me a email, I might have something you want.

World of Warcraft. It's an online game that's pretty much as addicting as crack (or INFI). :D

We have a guy here at work that stays up until 2:30-3:00 in the morning sometimes playing. Comes in the next day talking about wizards and dragons, and all sorts of things. I find it funny that a grown man is so drawn into it. His girlfriend of 5 or so years left him a few months back, and part of the reason was his excessive gaming. :D
