So after going through what I've had and have I've noticed I don't have any manual flippers. I never really had a good one. My gf has a skyline and I live the action on it but it's too small for my hands and is uncomfortiable. What other flippers are there out there that are good? I bought a crkt shenanigan and it flipped open quick but my god the detent is too much and the jimping on the flipper feels like I'm pushing on spydercos serrations so I'm sending it back.

You could always get a Kershaw and deassist it.

My Buck Vantage is a pretty decent flipper.

I agree with this. You can get the s30v steel variant for your budget. Mine is a fine knife and still in my edc rotation as the cheapest knife in the rotation.

Kershaw Lahar from KershawGuy = 3.5" VG-10 manual flipper for $75 last I checked.

I really like my Shallot, it's got a more subtle flipper that doesn't protrude like a sore thumb, of corse you have to dremel a detent divot to de-assist it but that's a 5 minute job.

The buck vantage pro is one of the only knives in s30v steel that will fit you budget criteria. Or just wait, save up 50bucks and your into a whole new category, (benchmade, spyderco)

CRKT has some manual flippers in your price range. Not the best steel, but might be worth looking at. I still say get a Kershaw and deassist.

I was just going to suggest the CRKT eraser as well. Got mine for like $50 on the jungle river website.

Zt 0700, but it might be slightly over your budget. i think kershawguy had them for around $80 last time i checked. One of the smoothest flippers I've had. Definitely the smoothest knife out of the box I've had besides my Rift.

Kershaw Skyline end of search. Or the vantage which has a better ergo handle. I have and like them both for different reasons.

I'm fond of the CRKT Ripple. IKBS and gorgeous anodized titanium handles. Slim, light, sharp as a razor. What's not to like?
