Hi Everyone,

I need to tap the knowledge of you gurus out there. I'm looking for a new EDC folding knife as I'm realizing the the mini-griptilian that I'm carrying now is just a tad too small. Ideally, this knife would fit the following specs:

1. Price point is around $100.
2. A bit larger (blade length) than the benchmade mini-grip but smaller than the spyderco tenacious.
3. Available in plain edge.
4. As light as possible (2.5 to 3.5 ounces would be ideal)

After typing this out I realize I sort of described the normal version of the griptilian :) Really though, I'm looking for something new even though the griptilian is a great knife. Any suggestions?

Thanks a ton!

benchmade 940. if you don't buy one now, you'll kick yourself later when you do.

Spyderco para military
Boker Exkelibur
Buck vantage pro

most blades with aluminum handles will be light.
A mini socom elite is just about perfect for you, just a bit out of your price range

it's a standard excellent quality knife that everyone should end up owning at some point.

just a fun, strong (tough), slim low profile yet high yielding knife.
