I'm looking for a sort of medium sized spyderco (4-4.5 inches closed) for EDC that would be under 85$ street price like on ebay and not what it says on the spyderco website and something that is still high quality (good steel, no blade play, good weight) and not paying for a high end knife.

Delica. Or if you want a little bigger, an Endura. Great knives, thin, lightweight, cut like crazy. Ugly buggers though :foot: :D

Check out the exchange section here, you'll find a lot of good deals.

The Delica, Endura, Stretch, Salt 1, Manix Lightweight, Manix 2, Tenacious, Resilience, and Native are all great EDC and user knives. Look at the Spyderco subforum for more info on these models.

Sounds like a manix2 lightweight is what you're looking for. As mentioned, the delica, endura, and stretch are classics and also fit the bill.

Another vote for the Delica. Delica4 FFG is a great knife. One of my favorite EDC knives. Some people like the Native FRN as well. It's slightly shorter than the Delica, but it does feature S30V steel. Personally, I much prefer the ergos on the Delica.

Delica Full Flat Ground. Perfect EDC IMO. Flat, light, and slices like crazy. The VG 10 holds an edge a decent amount of time and gets wicked sharp

I was looking for the same thing recently and while VG-10 is better steel, I am not a fan of back locks.

Tenacious/Persistence/Resilience/Ambitious was the obvious choice. The build quality is MUCH higher than the 8cr13mov steel would suggest. I ended up with 2 Tenacious and an Ambitious for me and gifts.

Delica 4 FFG or Tenacious. I edc both and both are outstanding in their own right.
