Just a little braggin'. My oldest has told me that he will be the second to make me a Grandpa. My second daughter is just ahead of him by a about 6 months. 2 grandchildren in less than a year's span is a blessing undeserved of this sinner. I guess I'll have to spread the Bussekin herd thinner than I thought.

On another note, and it does make me proud but anxious as well. My oldest just got his orders and will deploy for his first time in the not too distant future. He needs to find out about his attachment and what he can carry. Not sure what will go over with Psy Ops / Airborne. Hopefully we have a Bussekin already in the herd that he can carry. Anyhow, I will share more as I can.

Congratulations! Children are a blessing - grandchildren even more I guess. Prayers for your son to return home safe and sound.
 
Congratulations all the way around! Grandkids are great; my fifth is due in August.:D

I know that you are justifiably proud of your son and rightly so. Congrats and best wishes for him!;):thumbup:
 
Here ya go man, Congratulations and sympathies at the same time on the grandkids, you will love it but your bank account will dwindle ever so quietly. The son deploying will be fine, he is with a great group of soldiers. give him my best and he will be in our thoughts and prayers as will you...

Had a son that went over in the first action on Iraq in the USMC and then we have had five grandchildren pop up or I should say out during the past 3 years from both of my boys, the math is difficult on that one and they where all of the male persuasion, a little wow factor there, but we are all the worse for wear.

always remember to spend your grandkids inheritance...

I hope I can look as good as you- eating some good cake from a big ol' busse and what not when I become a grandpa someday. Gratz brother! That's amazing news though! GL to your son too.

If you dont have what he needs, you best put out the call here. Many here would be proud to outfit him out of their personal collections.

Don't be too, too worried about your boy. A whole lot of good people are working hard to keep him safe.

David, I believe he received a Swamp Warden @ Christmas that is still pantsless. I will have to check with him and make sure it is the one he will take as well. Thank You!

Thank you for all the kind words and the consideration in keeping him tooled up. I retain Just 2 pieces of INFI passed to me by a MegaHOG, until I get my MUK. The rest have been sold for medicinal purposes or passed to my kids. My 2 oldest boys have more Bussekin than I do.

I pray you receive bountiful grand babies! I will always worry, but I have mucho faith.
