Good news, bad news, but, some good news...

Well, the most stressfull week in my life EVER!

The Good;

...we sell our house at a great price!

The Bad;

...we have to be out on the 4th of June = No Blade :(

The Good;

...we buy a house on 4 acres of playground! :)

The Bad;

...already purchased airline tickets for Blade and are told, 'non refundable' - $5k out of pocket :(

The Good;

...recieved confirmation today that due to the circumstances involved, they will carry tickets for usage at next years "conference" ;) (Blade 05')

The Bad;

...we have to wait another 12 months before we meet you guys... :(

Time to get drunk! :eek:
 
I'm sorry to hear that you won't be making it to Blade, but I'm glad that you sold your house. I know how stressful that can be.

I'll be sure to post some pics of what you missed ;):p

Hmmm.... Kind of like reverse karma here..... I still haven't sold my house even though I've already moved and I am going to Blade this year.
 
Congrats on the new casa , at least next year you don't have to deal with getting airline tickets .

I know how you feel about not being able to go to Blade , I'm taking the fireman exam on the 5th of June , so no Blade for me either :grumpy: .
 
Guy, you have 3 weeks to get out and still make it to Blade.

Geesh, what a lightweight...LOL

Congrats on the new abode. Sorry we ahve to wait another year. That will give us plenty of time to practice our Aussie language skills......... ;)

Actually, I am happier with saving the $5k than anything else at the moment...:)....even the new house!!!! It was a lot to swallow...

It is amazing what Qantas will do when you pull the 'corperate' strings with them... :eek:

Seriously, thanks Qantas for being so understanding!!!!

Gundy Congrats on the house. Sorry you won't be able to make it this year. I was just thinking..........this will be my first year there and, well, if you send me your tickets, I'll be happy to come and share my experiences and all the pics and things with you so you could see and feel what it was actually like...???... It would almost be like being there. Just for you my friend. :) :)

No daughter, just used the old..."...maybe then, our company should look at transfering the business to a more accomodating airline..." ;)

Even though it’s a busy time In the rock business, I would still have made the sacrifice for you and used those tickets. :)

That's good stuff :D . No worries mate , I wouldn't blame you even if you did go the hostage route :eek: :) :) .
