Good News/Bad News

The good news is that Patrick Barta has brought out a gorgeous 2nd Century Roman Spatha with a "sandwich" steel blade (think Cold Steel San Mai, sort of) for $640, which price includes a beautiful scabbard. The bad news is that he has raised his prices so that the Roman Riding Sword now costs $340, still a very good buy, but all of his other swords have gone up proportionately. I wonder if that is the result of a weakening dollar?

Thanks Hugh, I'll give that a try. For Roman sword fans it's still a bargain at those prices.

Yeah, Kris cutlery revealed a new line of stuff recently which looks good, and they move their prices up a bit on evertything....
