Just got a NIB Emerson Comrade BTS.
After the usual sanding of the backspacer, and some sanding of the stop pin to make it go fully into the hole in the titanium side(it was keeping the slabs slightly apart, causing a gap between the blade and the washers), it's all good.
Pretty flipin sweet now if I do say so myself.
If I get ambitious later, maybe I'll post the obligatory pics.:D

Here be pics.:)

Nice one

You cany really beat the 12, it sure is a great knife.

I'v got one in my pocket right now (and a persian on the table ;))

Congrats on scoring a good one this time around. I'd like one for my next EK.

Just have to add that this is about the only combo edge that I like.
Most combo edges have a "jog" from the serrations to the plain edge section(due to the full v-grind), but, with the Emerson having the chisel ground edge, the serrations and plain edge sections are in alignment.
Lock-up is solid too at around 70%.
