Good News for Canadian RAT Fans

thats pretty good news.

i was thinking of trying a RAT so i wanted to ask about Canadian dsitributors on the forums.

i hope he is still supplying fallknivens.

just posted a thread about that, sure is good news.

New RAT Cutlery retailer soon to come in Canada

I just got of the phone with Paul Robinson from workwearcanada.com, and he told me that they are getting a couple of RATs soon for reviews and might really think of selling them. They are mainly a Fallkniven retailer but they had a lot of people asking them for RATs and they are eager to see what all the hype is about, I told that its really worth it and that they will love the design and the workmanship behind these knives.

Some for all the canucks up here, that might become a good source for RATs some time to come.

By the way I was on the phone to order DC4 sharpeners, I did some research and it looks like it will be a great sharpening stone, the leather strop and the grit papers I had worked great but became kinda messy and took too much place for me to stick it in a flight bag with an RC-4. I hope its gone do it.

If anyone has some DC4s, the feedback is welcomed (good and bad).

As for me I might make the jump and try out there little U2 folding knife while waiting for a RAT folder to come.

Yes he is, and I've been hinting at him to look a Bark River as well. Not sure if that will ever be a go or not.

YEAH!!!!! We have been beset by good folks North of the border wanting a dealer up there. I am VERY happy to see a dealer open up! Mike

That would be good news. I've been ordering from the States - helps that the dollar is at a pretty good rate. Looking at ordering more from KSF or TKC - both ship to Canada for $5.

Paul ships for free in Canada. I have been buying Fallkniven's from him for some time now and his prices have been very competitive against the US on-line retailers when you factor in exchange, shipping, etc.

Hopefully he can offer the RAT product at competitive prices as well.

Kevin

That would be nice. I don't use the Fallkniven knives as they are slightly pricier than i'm inclined to pay. if his prices for RC knives are comparable to KSF or TKC (after factoring exchange of course), then it would be a good source this side of the border.
