I was amazed that I recieved an insurance claim check from the PO yesterday for the sarq that went missing a while back. It only took about a week after I filed my claim online. To be truthfull, I was not expecting to ever hear from them. I had already chalked it up as a loss.

And its not even my birthday or Christmas or anything. I guess I have some more knife money now!

So for those of you who will have future dealings with the PO, I hope you have the same good luck with your claim.

Cool man! good for you! I'm glad, so... what Busse are you buying now?

I could not have been more shocked to see that check. I guess the Busse elves won over the evil postal trolls.

I want to see what the specs are on the new regulator, thats what I am looking at right now. If I like what I see, I may go for it. Otherwise I would love to get a ratweiler. It was my first Busse, took it to Iraq and everything and then sold it because I was too busy partying to get out and enjoy it, plus I needed money for more booze. ; )

I would chalk that up to good karma coming back to you. You handled the situation with 230 in an honorable fashion. Not that it always happens that quickly but as a general rule what goes around comes around. Glad to hear it came around so fast.

Good for you JT that's great news, looks like more Infi for you.

Thats good to hear. Usually when you deal with the post office it takes forever to get your claim.

wow, I'm amazed. Once I thought a USPS money order I had sent had been lost in the mail, I talked to them and they said I would have to wait two weeks, then it would cost $20 to file for an inquiry to see if the check was cashed, and then 6-8 weeks after it it filed to get my money back...
Good for you..

Cool Bro!!! Wish all the cases came together this good and in a timely manner. Congrats man...

I'm glad to hear it. I've read way too many horror stories about the USPS dragging its feet over these claims.
Good for you. And good on you for making the whole thing right.

Great to hear, and that was fast:thumbup:

Did you have to provide a reciept from when you bought it?
I've heard some mention they had to.

wow, that's pretty amazing. If I am not mistaken the government runs the USPS.
Go figure!:-)

I had the reciept and other paper work ready. I went in the office and started getting the run around. I left there and filed online and it was pretty easy. For the part where I had to verify the value of the item I just used the hogcult site. It listed the retail value, not what they go for now. They still refunded the whole amount that I insured it for though.
