Good news on mini Svord friction-folders: blades are available

Back at the end of last year we had a THR group buy of the Svord "Peasant" friction-folder knives out of New Zealand. The buy went quite well, so I was going to pick up some of the smaller-sized 1-3/4" version called the "Gent Peasant". However, the knife went out of production earlier this year, due to the economics of keeping so many variants in stock.

However, I contacted the Bakers (Svord craftsmen), and it turns out that they have several dozen Gent Peasant blades left over. No scales, but heat-treated, drilled for rivets, etc. They even have a dozen or so in damascus steel. NZ$12 for carbon-steel, NZ$30 for damascus. The NZ$1 is about US$0.68

Minimum order is 10 knives, so if you're keen to put together a neat little friction folder, you might want to Group Buy this at some point. I'd offer to help, but I'm already covering the buy for THR.

The Bakers are really great folks to work with, so just drop them a line. They did say that 10 is the minimum order for Gent Peasant blades, so that part is non-negotiable. If anyone gets a Gent built with cool scales, I'd love to see it. Still not quite sure what to do with the damascus blade I'm getting...

Sorry, but the discussion forums are not a place to sell.
I moved this to the appropriate for sale forum.

Just for reference:

I am not financially affiliated with the Bakers, just a customer.

I am not soliciting orders for my bulk package of blades, as I only have enough for the Group Buy on another board.

Was just posting this, as we had previously been told that the Svord Gent knife was discontinued, but it turns out that they have extra blades unused.
