Good News on Minimum Price Enforcement

The ying and yang of retailing. Brick & Mortar stores will have to offer something that online retailers cannot, same as in any other market. Artificially controlled prices like MAP only delay the inevitable; if MAP is required, those retailers are already on life support.

Do you always buy from the cheapest store? Are you always willing wait for online delivery? For that matter, do you always buy the cheapest knife? Sounds to me that by that logic, we'd all be buying nothing but Chinese blades.

Some retailers adapt to technology, some don't. But that is often an excuse for other, underlying causes. Hell, even GM and Chrysler are struggling, and they've been "bailed out." B&M knife stores will need to focus on having that "something extra," whatever that might be (or be perceived to be).
