WHICH DO YOU PERFER, WOOD OR HORN,& WHY!By the way,I too like the 15", can do about the same as I can with a 16",also easier to carry,at our age ,my friend we will BE more selective!WE too were at one time"Young Immortal & careless!You are coming to the Konv.! YES??

Jim, long and light works about as well, or better sometimes, as fat and heavy.
The YCS is a good example of that at 17" and 1 Lb.6 oz.
And yes, if we get to make it down I will bring my YCS as well as a couple of other goodies, like the Hanuman Special, which is a Hanuman handle on a WW II blade, of which there's only 4 of in the world.
And mine has the leather on the scabbard which appears to be of the shrunken water buffalo skin. Beautiful is the only word for it!!!
