Beautiful pollution....

Monet, Whistler and Turner's dramatic cityscape paintings thought to be inspired by smog:

"Most interestingly, the exhibition and catalog examine ways in which each artist used the deleterious effects of the Industrial Revolution - polluted rivers, foul air and limited visibility caused by smog - as aesthetic tools to enhance their art."

I guess the cloud has an orange lining.

Dayum, the way Stephen May describes the artist's work makes me want to go see the exhibition!!!! To bad it isn't on a passaround and won't land at our Philbrook Museum of Fine Arts.:(
If I lived in Toronto or close by my shirtail wouldn't hit my arse until I got to see it. You guys are lucky, fortunate, or whatever to have the exhibition there!!!! :D
