Brett-You gave me such a great deal on the Tiburon, and you throw in the Robeson CC Barlow. Many thanks. It is a gem, and I've been contemplating an RCC barlow for some time.

For the members-Can you tell me about how to date this? It is in an RCC box, stamped RCC, but has a Mastercraft etch. It is almost perfect in fit and finish. Anyone know about these covers? They had to be cut with multiple processes. The covers look like a snake's skin. Sort of like Case's barbwire cut covers. They have the traditional scallop cuts, but then a fine-wire size jagged edge around each scallop giving it a jagged diamond shape (sorry, my picture taking skills are horrible). The fine lines never cut through a scallop, always around them in a some-what diamond shape. The pics don't do it justice.

Anyhow, the generosity continues.

Thanks Brett!

I can't help with dating the knife, but I can speak from experience that Brett is A+++.

I've seen similar bone on Queens S&M toothpick, ~2000 vintage.

I with you all, Brett is great.
Brownshoe-thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

I had a couple of those Robeson MasterCraft barlows, they are nice. I still have a stag covered one. Do a google search for "robeson mastercraft RCC" and look at the write-up on iknifecollector about the company name and history. It is pretty informative and a good read...

Different coloration but the same jigging pattern as used on the 2000 release of the S&M Keystone Series.

Brett is a class act, he did the same for me when I bought bis beautiful #73 in yellow bone...he threw in a very nice Queen Trapper...Thank you Brett:):thumbup:

I appreciate the kind words folks, but in all honesty, so many people here have impressed upon me I feel the real praise goes to the enviroment this little area creates. That enviroment was here long before I posted my first post. I personally feel at home and would not have been nearly as giving if this this place wasn't what it is. To many of you all have been kind enough to teach this newbie, befriend a stranger, and pass along encourgement it is the least I can do.

Josh, Im glad they made it home my friend.
