I sent a DMT Dia-Hone back to them for inspection. It had a flaw. However, they were very slow in getting back to me. I honestly think I just fell through the cracks.

I emailed them back - they got right back to me and said they shipped off a new stone. Great!

When I got it - there was my new stone - but the box felt heavy.

Also inside was a Dia sharp Dia Fold (13 bucks) and THREE Mini Hones - one in each grit! (20 bucks or so)

Also a personal note from the plant manager expressing his apology for the delay and defective product.

I called him back and thanked him for his time and the extra goodies - they were display models at knife show booths - but looked new to me.

Nice score on my part!

That's good to hear TF...I've always liked DMT and it's good to see this type of customer service (even after a small mishap). It's also good to give them a plug for that little extra...
