im looking into a solid all around utility/camping knife, 5-7 in blade. dont plan on hard use, but want a knife that can take it if needed. i like the crk nr worrior and the spartan horkos. they look sweet to me but i need some help from u experts. anyone have one of these? pros? cons? suggestions?

Spartan blades look like nice pieces, that's for sure.

CRK sure doesn't mess around either. I came very close to getting a warrior.

If you've got a nice budget, just go with what you think you'd like, I doubt either would really dissapoint.

But you could just go for a RAT blade, would work just as well at light camping chores and just as well on heavy use when needed. With the money you'd save you could buy another smaller or bigger blade to bring along.

Take a look at swamp rat and scrapyard knives, always a bunch in the exchange to chose from. or a busse if you feel like spending some $$$

IIRC both of those knives are S30V. I think I would stick to something in a tool steel for a camping knife. Others have mantioned RAT knives (which are quite a good deal) and I will throw in that you should look at some of the custom makers here. Fiddleback makes some nice camping/general purpose knives for a good price. Phillip Patton is a touch more expensive than RAT or Fiddleback, but makes one heck of a nice knife..... the options are endless once you hit that makers section of the forum. I wish you luck finding exactly what you want/need
