Good price for a CUDA MAXX 5.5" in Canada?

Camillus CUDA MAXX's r pretty expensive up here. i know there is a couple at Milarm and P&D in Edmonton... i don't know the price, but last time i checked, it was over $300CDN. nice choice in a parge folder though. :D

www.knifezone.ca has them listed as well and they are also in the $300 range.... sort of ;) The bowie is $281'ish and the stilletto is $346 and change. I recently got a BM Mini Grip and Buck Northshore seized at customs (the good old "centrifigual force" classification) and am really having second thoughts about bringing anything other than my supplies across. It's unfortunate, but I think we may have to bite the bullet in a few instances. I bought a Camillus Heat from Target (you may want to give them a call/email) - exactly for that reason. I paid a premium (I "wanted" it - didn't need it....well...yes, I needed it :D ) Target is pretty good at getting stuff - don't let their web page fool you - they have a lot of stuff in their shop!! (www.targetknives.ca).

Hope this helps -gord

Anybody know where I can get a CUDA MAXX 5.5" for a good price from a Canadian dealer? I don't want to risk the knife being confiscated by customs when ordering from the US.

Thanks

Hello Fellow Canuk

I wouldn't be worried about ordering from Stateside, that's were I got my Cuda Maxx from. It's the shipping method you need to worry about, never and I mean NEVER order via UPS. They are a bunch of scammers :(

I ordered my knife from a store on eBay and it was shipped via USPS, arrived within 7 days and no tax/customs. With S&H the Maxx came out to 165CDN, a lot cheaper than locally (I'm in Edmonton, AB btw)

If you are interested in the fellows name/store on ebay let me know and I'll email it to you.

Best regards,
