Good price on a BATAC?

Can someone let me know what a good price on a satin BATAC is? I haven't really been able to research this model because you don't see too many of them. To be more specific as to a "good price"-I'm not into paying premium prices for anything-I often find good deals on anything by just being patient and shopping around. I am also aware of price variations when it comes to availability of Busse knives so please feel free to include this thought in any suggestions.

I know they aren't available right now at the Custom Shop but has anyone ordered one before from the shop and can you tell me what the original price was on it??

Honestly, the best way to figure out what the "reasonable" price is to watch the exchange like a hawk for a while.

You really get a sense for what they are going for.

For satin, I think you are looking at either the LE or SE (unless you are looking for a custom Shop).

Probably in the $400 range or so. Give or take. If you pay attention you can catch one for a good price.
 
thanks Bigfattyt. much appreciated. It's funny how much price variation you can find if you just keep looking on certain models. It's getting harder for guys to price them higher and actually sell them in this economy but there are still some anxious surprises out there too sometimes and it all adds value to busses, so I'm not bashing. I, myself, am just a bit of a deal hunter, that's all.

Don't need to tell me about deal hunting!

Right now is a great time to be a buyer. Lots of great deals. out there.


I try to cruise the exchange, even when I am not in the market, just so I stay current.

I have scored some excellent deals of the exchange, and let a few great deals go my self as well.

Don't worry about the lack of responses to your thread either...........

KC, I'm getting depressed because I couldn't make it to that show--would've loved to have gone. Probably would have come back broke though.
 
Man, just monday? I think, a tank buster, and a comp finish sarQ both went for $205! Insane, and if I had been right there ready, I would have bought both from the same guy, and kept one and sold the other and almost broke even, almost.

Great deals to be had if you lurk, and spring fast enough.

I just saw a bad with a BB sheath go for $200. That is technically 150 for the BAD, and 50 for the BB sheath! Insane price!
