Good price on CQC 7A?

I just picked this up from another forum and I thought the Bladeforums members might be interested. I have nothing to do with the vendor and know nothing about them; I just wanted to pass this along.

This place is having a Fathers Day sale. Some of their prices are pretty good, some not so, but this one seemed like a really good deal:

I bet you found that on SIGForum where I posted it. I called them yesterday and the lady told me they were on 2 1/2 week backorder. I went ahead and ordered one. I figured for that price I could wait a little while. I've been waiting a couple years to buy an Emerson, so what's a little longer?
 
why is the cqc so cheap? even at normal price ($66.95) on that site is good. what gives?
 
Well, it's been less than a week since I ordered my CQC7. I called Blade Realms (Blades9000) to find out the status. The lady called EKI and they told her they were drop shipping me the knife today. Hopefully I'll have my new knife by the middle of next week.
 
I live about 5 minutes from Emerson...want me to go lean on them? (bad idea) ;-)

I just spoke to bladerealms and they said the $52 price was a computer error. It's selling for $105 on their site now. They are not honoring the $52 price on the cqc7a.
 
THey called about my order. I told them that since they said it was shipped yesterday they were out of luck and it was their loss. I think legally they have to honor the price on the ones they've already sold.
 
Botach Tactical has it for $79.00 but I heard some really bad things about them. Anyone know of a low price from a more reputable place on the net?
 
Blade Realms also called me and left a message that the price on their website was incorrect, thus they would not honor the original price. Man, am I bummed! Blade Realms apparently doesn't know their merchandise because no mention of the error was made when I placed the order. Blade Realms wants $109 for it, which is more expensive than several other sites. This is the second time that something like this happened to me when I attempted to order an Emerson. Apparently it isn't meant for me to have one. If anyone knows of some place to order a CQC7 at a good price (other than Botach) then please let us know. :(

your best price is with bladetrader or bladepusher on knifeforums.com i tried to pm you but i have to pay for that privledge here.:rolleyes:

their prices on non specials are the best too.
 
What problems have you guys had from Botactical? The only problem
I had was super slow delivery and signature required upon
delivery, for a flashlight!

botach is notorious for charging your card and product not shipping or not in stock. best thing to do is call to check stock, then place the order, secondly use a credit card. if you have any problems you can turn the cc security posse loose on them.
