Good quality rain poncho?

Looking for a quality rain poncho. I want it to last a long time. Help a brother out!

The German Army/ Bundeswehr Rubberised Poncho is a tough cookie....if you can find one over there, and on good nick.

The Swiss ponchos are good tough gear. A little heavy compared to waterproof nylon but tough stuff & failry cheap.

Are you referring to the Alpenflage rain capes that have been on the market for a few years - open down the front - slits for arms to some out - big hood - heavy-duty plastic - $5-6 ?

I had to go and look in the bin...that is it. I bought mine 10-12 years ago and have not used in a couple of years. Memory told me it was the same poncho design as USGI but memory has been lying to me of late. Still a useful bit of gear. I know mine have been mistreated as ground cloths and windbreaks.
