Well i just started working in the stone quarry again and boy the pickings are fat.i'm not sure what i can make out of the huge bearings w/o a power hammer, but the smaller ones and the coil springs have potential.i also got a whole coffe can of 1/2" x 1 1/2" roller bearings from a bucket loader.I know its all mystery steel from the scrap pile but wouldnt bearings in general just be made out of a good material.IE: toughness/wear resistance?
