Good Reference

Looking for a recommendation, is there one text that does a fair job covering most popular builders? Or must I get seperate references for each Italian-German-USA? Thanks for your help

If you aren't looking for something specific, for the most part you'll just need to just search the internet for information about brands or just check a bookstore for what they have. You won't find a single reference on a large percentage of makers. Certain individual brands do have books on their history though, like The Spyderco Story, and there are various books on different types of makes and periods of history, but again there's no one single source everyone has on their shelf.
