good resource for determining value?

I'm working myself into getting rid of stuff mode, and I've got about 2 dozen Case knives that I've never carried that I should put on the sales block. Sorting out the ages shouldn't be too bad (none are more recent than 2001); but I haven't got a clue on what any of them are worth. I know that a fair portion of them were somewhat limited production; but I don't know where to find that information either. (I've seen that there are production lists on the Case website; but I can't easily access them on this device, so Idon't know if they'd be of help.)
Any suggestions?

I'd ask here on the forums (where you can) and on Case forums and websites.

That's what I did for a Mikov and it worked fine.

I will say that using the advanced search function on ebay is a good way to find out what things are worth in the real world.

Here ya go

but seriously, advanced search on ebay is a good idea. Thes case knives are pretty consistent on their values from what I've seen. So an ebay auction is a good idea I think since there is enough demand in case knives. Just make sure you schedule it to end at like sunday evening and not 4AM tuesday or something.

Make sure if you use Ebay that you go to SOLD listings. Input the knife you want the info on ie Case stockman (add the pattern number) then when the for sale knives come up, look to the left and down for SOLD items, click that and all the previous recent sales will show.

Best regards

If you want top value, they should all be uncarried, unsharpened, with the original box, tissue, and documentation, with the box in relatively good condition.

Unless you have something exceptional or particularly rare, I would estimate that your selling values will all fall between $40 and $80, just based on what I have seen as a buyer. There are some that will fetch more than that due to rarity or demand.

If you are planning to sell HERE on the Exchange, then you have to set the price. If you are planning to sell on an auction site, you just have to set the starting price and let the bidders determine the value.
