Got a call from a guy named Ron whose wife had bought a knife from me for his Xmas present 3 years ago.
He said he had skinned out 2 deer and 1 elk and the knife was loosing it's edge and could I sharpen it for him.
I said sure thinking I would really have a job ahead of me.
When I saw the knife I looked it up in my book and it was #22 that I had made about 4-5 years before.
The knife had a few scracthes and wouldn't quite shave hair .
A little touch up on a 600 belt and a crock stick and the knife would again shave hair off my arm.
Ron asked me what he owed me and I told him that free sharpening for life came with the knife. He really thought that was neat.
Yesterday I got a call and he wanted one for his son.
Kind of like to see knifes come back that way.
